I have a 6 heatpipe heatsink with this processor, and it can get pretty hot when I play games at the highest settings. The temps can get as high as 85 ° C to 95 ° C (185 ° F to 203 ° F). If you want to lower the temps, you have to play around the PL1(Power Limited), PL2, and TAU settings. Lowering your PL1, and PL2 settings can decrease the performance, but it keep your CPU cooler.

I played this game a lot back in 1988, and I remembered how to play it when I made this video in 2022.

You should be able to run Windows 98 on a Pentium 3. Back in 2000, I was running Windows 98 on a Pentium 3 800 Mhz computer.

Your icon looks like Caleb from Blood 2. That was my favorite game back in 1998!

@@paulnguyen8910 After the staff roll, most games allowed you to play game again, like Operation Wolf, Area 88, Bad Dude, Rush'n Attack, and others. Sometimes, the levels would be much more difficult the next time you play it through, like Operation Wolf.

You must be a lot younger than me. Maybe, you were a teenager when you played it? I played this in my early 20s. Never the less, this was a great game for a game of this type in the late 1990s.

This is the arcade rendition of that game.

This game was an action adventure game, like Zelda II. It was published by Sierra and sold in a bulk pack with Thexder and some other games back in 1990. Originally, this game was developed for the Sharp X1, and NEC PC-8801 in Japan in 1987. Game Arts developed this game along with Thexder which was another popular game. I also played Thexder 2 Firehawks, and Silpheed which were Game Arts games as well. There really weren't that many Japanese style video games on the computer, and Sierra was one of the first companies to introduce it to MS-DOS platform.

Hey I played thexder and never realized that fire hawk was the sequel I thought silpheed was sequel for some ambiguous reason

@@Retrokid1998 Firehawks was the official sequel to Thexder. The game format was the same as original, it was a side scrolling game with the character playing a transforming veritech like robot. It had a lot more weapon types, and better music.

I’v never played thexder 2 before but I played wibarm which If I remember was a game arts game which when I played that game I thought it was thexder 2

@@Retrokid1998 Wibarm wasn't developed by Game Arts, it was developed by Arsys, and published by Broderbund. Transforming robots was a common genre back in the 1980s with anime series, like Gobots, Transformers, Macross, Robotech, etc. A lot of game developers wanted to cash in on it. Firehawks came out much later. Fire Hawk: Thexder - The Second Contact came out in 1989. The music in the game sounds like BGM from Japan. It is like BGM on the Famicom, NEC or PC-88.

Don't modern smart televisions come with a version of Linux on it? I just use a single board computer with Batocera on it which has Kodi on it. I also use sbcs with Android on it, which also work. The problem with using X86/X64 based processors is that it uses too much power.

It's a different theme from Snakes Revenge (Metal Gear 2). I don't think there is a theme like this on any other Metal Gear game.

Her title was Mistress of the Dark. I used to watch her on Elvira's Movie Macabre back in the 1980s. The show was about horror movies, and Elvira was the host. It aired from 09/26/1981 to 11/02/1986. It was aired on Kcal-TV channel 9 in Los Angeles. They may have some clips from that show on RUclips.
